home

I was able to bring my husband home from the hospital yesterday.  The "it takes 90 min to check out" turned into 4.5 hours.  John's blood pressure is back to normal, his kidney function is back to normal.  The hospital Dr took him off all blood pressure meds, lowered the dose of the prostate med (which we found out was really a blood pressure med), and he can't take anti-inflamatories like ibuprofen any more.  Tomorrow we go see his primary care Dr for a hospital follow up.

  1. I don't know how I missed this post Wendy. I HATE checking out of hospitals. It always takes forever. I hope that the meds and follow ups are going well!

  2. His meds are doing fine. He goes in for an appointment next week and his Dr is going to be putting him back on his regular blood pressure med that helps protect the kidneys, and I assume will take him off the prostate med that affects his blood pressure and start him on another one that doesn't. He had the first of the neuro-psych tests last week, has another next week, then we go in for the results in June.

  3. That's not my garden. I wish it were. :)

HOpe that couponing is going well and that the migraine has been decimated!

The hospital seems to be going well, but of course nobody is saying anything about whether she's had any seizures or not. Tomorrow.
